In the context of implementing Horizon 2020 (H2020), the European Union’s Research and Innovation Framework Programme, the EFPC has provided its' comments to the development of the work programme 2018-2020 defining the calls and action that will implement the Framework Programme.

Friday 27 May, we received the positive news that the EFPC has been accepted as an official member for the Health Care Professionals Working Party of EMA for the period 2016-2019. Our Italian and Dutch members, Walter Marrocco and Pieter van den Hombergh, will be our official representatives.

The International Federation of Community Health Centres (IFCHC) was involved in a side event on Monday 23/5 at the World Health Assembly in Geneva. It was organized by two main partners, World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) and Towards Unity for Health (TUFH).

The EFPC Position Paper, coordinated by Danica Rotar and Pim de Graaf, has been published in the Slovenian Journal of Public Health. The online version is now available and emphasises the fact that Roma populations’ have low health status and limited access to health services, including primary care. This has been documented in many European countries, and warrants specific health policies and practices.
